Ed Miller

OZARK…. Mr. Ed Miller, a resident of Ozark, died early Tuesday evening, July 16, 2019 in a Dothan hospital. He was 85.

In keeping with Mr. Miller’s wishes, there are no services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alabama Wildlife Federation, 3050 Lanark Road, Millbrook, Alabama 36054.

Mr. Miller, son of the late Adam Miller and Minnie Griggs Miller, was a native and lifelong resident of Dale County. He was engaged in farming most of his lifetime. Mr. Miller enjoyed hunting and driving around the county visiting with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Smith Miller; three sisters, Lizzie Miller, Thelma Davis, and Eddie Hayes; two brothers, Oneal Miller and June Miller.

Surviving relatives include his two sons, Jeff Miller (Linda) and Larry Miller (Lawanna), all of Ozark; his brother, James A. Miller, Post Oak Community; three grandchildren, Brittany Thorne (Cameron), Jordy Miller (Christian), and Jeremy Miller; three great-grandchildren, Miller Colt Thorne, Austin Miller and Aiden Miller.
