Dagmar Anderson

OZARK…Mrs. Dagmar Engel Anderson, a resident of Ozark, died late Thursday morning, January 5, 2023, at her home. She was 73.

In keeping with the wishes of her family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Anderson, daughter of the late Richard Engel and Anni Beilfuss Engel, was a native of Berlin, Germany. She met her husband, the late John Michael Anderson (Staff Sergeant, United States Army, Retired) while he was stationed in Germany. Mrs. Anderson lived in various other locations while he served in the United States Army. She moved to Ozark following retirement in 2000 and was formerly employed with Post Exchange at Ft. Rucker. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anita Masters and Rosemarie English.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Michael Anderson (Sharon), Colorado Springs, Colorado and Andrew Anderson, Dothan.
