Bernard Meeks

OZARK…. Mr. Bernard Meeks, a resident of Ozark, died late Saturday evening, September 28, 2019 in a Dothan hospital. He was 27.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 4, 2019 in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Susan P. Zierdt officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Meeks was a native of Ozark and attended Carroll High School. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Gail Shewsbury Meeks; sister, Sabrina M. Lawhorn and brother, Richard Meeks.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Stephanie L. Meeks; father, Michael Meeks, both of Ozark; two sisters, Christina Noel, Malvern and Elizabeth Lawhorn, Princeton, WV; a brother, Jeremy Meeks, Panama City, Florida; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Susan P. Zierdt, Ozark;  nieces and nephews, Samantha Noel, Dominick Noel, Hagean Meeks, Skyelin Meeks Jaxon Poff and Addie Poff.
