William Earl Durham

DALEVILLE…William Earl Durham, a resident of Daleville, died Monday evening, June 5, 2023. He was 51.

            Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 15, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Father Chris Boutin officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

            Mr. Durham, son of the late Gene Autrey Durham and Anita Bernice Colby Durham, was a native of Burlington, Iowa. He moved to Ft. Rucker (now Ft. Novosel) in 1971 and has lived in the Wiregrass area most of lifetime. Mr. Durham was a Jack of all trades, who loved woodworking and being on the river. He enjoyed video games and loved his fury friends, Roxy, Bear, Miko, and Yogi. Mr. Durham was a loving father, brother, and was of the Catholic faith.

            Surviving relatives include his daughter, Kathryn Moates (Logan), Ozark; his son, Jeremy Durham, Daleville; sister, Dawn Strops (Joe), Enterprise; a brother, Edward Durham (Jeanne), Corpus Christy, Texas; three grandchildren, Braileigh Metcalf, Charlie Metcalf, and Jak Durham; his longtime girlfriend, Phyllis McManus and his former wife, Amanda Russell; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
