TROY…Mrs. Stephanie Peacock Fisher, a resident of Troy, stepped into eternity late Sunday afternoon, November 16, 2025, in Dothan, Alabama surrounded by her family. She was 56.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Pea River Cemetery in Brundidge with her son, Pastor Joshua Fisher officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Fisher, daughter of the late Jimmy Peacock and Margaret Graves Peacock, was a proud native of Clearwater, Florida. In her 30s, she made Brundidge her home, where her legacy of compassion and mentorship blossomed.

After graduating high school, she was deeply inspired by evangelist R.W. Schambach, traveling with his ministry for several years. Her faith remained a cornerstone of her life, and she was a devoted member of The River of Ozark Church.

Mrs. Fisher married the love of her life in 1995. Together, they opened their hearts and home to foster children—first in the early years of their marriage and again beginning six years ago. Her nurturing spirit touched countless young lives.

She had a lifelong passion for horses, riding and showing them across Florida and Alabama. Her creativity extended to home design, where she found joy in flipping houses—bringing beauty and warmth to every space she touched.

Above all, Mrs. Fisher planted many seeds, and her legacy will remain as a mentor, a caregiver, and a woman of unwavering faith and generosity.

Surviving relatives include her husband, William George Fisher, Troy; daughter, Lauren Strickland (Ryan), Hartford and Logan Fisher, Troy; son, Pastor Joshua Fisher (Anja), Ozark; sister, Tonia Johnson (Donnie), Bradenton, Florida; two grandchildren, Asha Strickland and Ryker Fisher; niece, Megan Manning (Dustin); great-nieces and nephews, Caleb, Chloe, Skylar, and Kendall.
