Jo Ann Southard Hasty

OZARK…Mrs. Jo Ann Southard Hasty, a resident of Ozark, died early Thursday evening, February 29, 2024, at her home. She was 73.

            Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Jeremy Meetze officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

            Mrs. Hasty was born February 5, 1951, in Lilbourn, Missouri. She lived in various locations in the United States and overseas while her husband served in the United States Army, before moving to Ozark in 1987. In earlier years prior to retirement, she was employed as a beautician and worked in a nursing home. Mrs. Hasty was preceded in death by two sons, Cris Hasty (CW2, Alabama Army National Guard) and Anthony Todd Hasty; her sister, Kathy Baehr and her brother, Joe Dennis Southard, Jr.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Ron Hasty (Sergeant First Class, United States Army, Retired), Ozark; three grandchildren, Joshua A. Hasty, Zachary A. Mullins, and Tristin Cole Mullins; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
