BONIFAY, FLORIDA…Mr. Jerry Kenneth Goff, a resident of Bonifay, Florida, died early Friday afternoon, August 9, 2024, in Ozark Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was 75.
In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Goff, son of the late Thurston Maine Goff, Sr. and Gladys Willie Holland Goff, was a native of Holmes County, Florida where he grew up with his parents and seven siblings. He attended Bonifay Elementary School and Holmes County High School. Mr. Goff was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served in many locations including Japan. He worked in various settings and lived in Alaska and the Northeastern United States before retiring and moving back to the Florida Panhandle. Mr. Goff was preceded in death by a sister, Minnie Wilson, brother, Thurston M. Goff, Jr. and brothers-in-law, John A. Dean and James W. Turner.
Surviving relatives include his children, Danielle Goff, David Goff, and Che Goff; siblings, Suzanne Dean, Elizabeth Goff (Cliff), Charlotte Goff, Gloria Turner and Monroe Goff (Janice); eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
