November 22, 1951 — January 21, 2026

Dothan

DOTHAN…Debbie Edwards Teague, a resident of Dothan (formerly of Ozark), died early Wednesday morning, January 21, 2026, in a Dothan hospital. She was 74.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Teague, daughter of the late Tyler Edwards and Barbara Olivia Cameron Edwards, was a proud native of Ozark and a 1970 graduate of Carroll High School. She carried her hometown roots with her throughout her life, always speaking fondly of the people and places that shaped her.

For many years, she poured her heart into Tyler Office Supply, the family business she purchased from her parents. She ran it with dedication and care for eighteen years, greeting customers with the same warmth and kindness she showed everyone in her life. The store wasn’t just a business to her—it was a place where she built friendships, shared stories, and continued the legacy her parents began.

Above all else, Ms. Teague loved her family deeply. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent caring for them. Whether she was tending to her plants, cheering on the University of Alabama football team, or settling in with a good book, she found joy in the simple, everyday moments. She also had a special place in her heart for her pet birds, who brought her comfort and companionship.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her steady presence, and the love she gave so freely. Her family and friends will carry her memory with them always, grateful for the time they shared with her and the many ways she made their lives brighter.

Surviving relatives include her daughter, Heather Hall, Dothan; son, Brian Teague, Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Lisa Edwards, Dothan; two grandchildren, Maddie Hall and Allie Hall; two special cousins, Ann and Chuck Ramsey of Dothan.
