Frances was born January 26, 1936, in Midland City, Alabama to her parents Mike and Florine Weed. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sam Maund, Jr.; an infant son; and her siblings Johnny Mack and Terry Weed. First and foremost, Frances loved the Lord. Those who knew her would tell you that her love for Alabama football, gardening, and summer trips with friends were not far behind. To know Frances was to love her- she was a mother to many, Southern at heart, gracious and devoted to the friendships she spent her life building.
