OZARK…Mr. Dionne “Junior” Stanford, a resident of Ozark, died late Monday evening, June 8, 2026, in Dale Medical Center. He was 41.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 13, 2026, in the Church of God by Faith with Elder H.N. Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the church.

Dionne Stanford, Jr. of Ozark, Alabama departed this life on June 8, 2026, at the age of 41. Born on May 19, 1985, he was known for his hardworking spirit, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to family.In his younger days, Dionne was a dedicated member of First Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a proud 2003 graduate of Carroll High School. Dionne loved sports, animals, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Carrie Bell Creech and Mary Kathrine Robinson.

Dionne leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved children, Tiana Stanford, Jordan Stanford, Kaliah Nyasia Bane, and Jwaun Stanford; loving grandfather, Robert Earl Creech; parents, Dionne Stanford, Sr. and Lanette Brown; sister, Clarissa Stanford Snell (Cedric Snell), Niasia Stevenson, and Ana Stanford; brother, Michael Stanford; special friend, Sabrina Moultrie; and a host of relatives and friends.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing his legacy lives on through all who loved him.
