ECHO COMMUNITY…Mr. Dennis Lewie Watson, a resident of the Echo Community, near Ozark, died Monday evening, July 4, 2022, at his home. He was 74.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 7, 2022, in the Echo United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Alan Meyer officiating. The family will receive friends from 8:30 until 9:30 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Watson, son of the late Lewie Watson and Lola Mae Robinson Watson, was a native of the Echo Community. He was retired due to disability as a truck driver and enjoyed talking on his CB radio as his handle was “Gypsey”. Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Watson Hagler and her husband, Johnnie.

Surviving relatives include his children, Celeste Watson, Amy Watson, and Stephen Mote (Melissa); four grandchildren, Trenton Jacob Liles, Liberty Watson, Darrian Nathaniel Hill Navy, and Michael Kentrell Hale; niece and nephew, Wanda Cryer and Wesley Hagler.
