Dennis Allen Rogers

DOTHAN…Mr. Dennis Allen Rogers, a resident of Dothan, died Friday, July 26, 2024, at his home. He was 69.

 In keeping with the wishes, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.

 Mr. Rogers, son of the late Allen Rogers and Hazel Rogers, was a native of Meridian, Mississippi and was a graduate of Meridian High School. He was formerly employed with Acme Roofing in Dothan and became a bail bondsman in later years for over twenty years. Mr. Rogers married the love of his life, Dorothy June 28, 1977. He enjoyed hunting with his uncle in his younger years. Mr. Rogers enjoyed the times his family would come visit and spend time with him. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jolanda Bundy.

 Surviving relatives include his wife, Dorothy Ann Rogers; three daughters, Dona Powers (Eric), Lynda Fleming, and Jacquelynn Cleveland, all of Dothan; five grandchildren, Victoria Joyner, Lauren Fleming, Jacob Powers, Nicalee Powers, and Isabella Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Maddox Joyner, Emma Joyner, and Liam Joyner; his beloved fur baby, Vegas.
