Ozark

OZARK… Mrs. Cara Mullins Perault, a resident of Ozark, died unexpectedly early Tuesday afternoon, June 28, 2022, in the emergency room of Dale Medical Center. She was 78.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 6, 2022, in the First United Methodist Church Sanctuary with Reverend Dr. Jason Thrower, Reverend Melanie Foust, and Reverend Dr. Billy Gaither officiating. Interment will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingsley Christian Learning Center Building Fund, c/o First United Methodist Church of Ozark, 167 E. Broad Street, Ozark, AL 36360 or to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 35325 Piedmont Road N.E., Building 5, Suite 120, Atlanta, Georgia 30305.

Mrs. Perault, daughter of the late Carl Wynton Mullins, Sr. and Sara Sims Mullins, was a native of Montgomery, Alabama. She attended Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. Mrs. Perault co-owned and operated Single Element Technology in Ozark. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ozark and was a member of the Seekers Sunday School Class. Mrs. Perault was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Leon Perault, Jr.

Surviving relatives include her daughter, Michelle Curvin (James), Albuquerque, New Mexico; her son, Les Perault (Melissa), Ozark; a brother-in-law who was like her son, Pat Perault (Myra), Dothan; a sister, LeNona Valentine (Bob), Ocean View, Delaware; six grandchildren, Emily Buswell, Cameron Curvin, Callie Curvin, Chloe Curvin, Courtney Curvin, and Olivia Perault; nieces and nephews, Brooke German, Ashley Williams, Chelsey Phillips, Doug Palatt, and Jeff Palatt.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Seekers Sunday School Class.
