Beverly was born on November 26, 1952, to the late Melven and Mary Smith Crawley in Plains, Georgia. Beverly was fortunate to have found two loves in her life. She married her first love, Thomas Jordan, and they became the proud parents of four children. After the death of her husband, Thomas,  in 1987, she continued her education earning a degree in nursing. In 2003, she married her second love, Phillip Lipscomb, who exhibited great love and commitment especially as she battled her illness. Beverly devoted her life to her family and to her nursing career, mostly in hospice care. Her greatest joy was being Memaw to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Lipscomb; her children, Angel Ready (Todd), Keith Jordan (Robyn), Mandy Prevatt (Todd), Cindy Kinney (Shane), and bonus children, Dennis McLeod (Heather) and Angela Kohl (BA). The loves of her life and the ones that kept her fighting, her grandchildren, Casey Watson (Drew), Courtney Rabon, Brandon Tucker, Jordan Kinney, Hannah Tucker, Jacie Jordan, Thomas Kinney, and bonus grandchildren, Erica Rivenbark (Spencer), John Prevatt, Michael Prevatt, Adam Prevatt, Noah Walker, and Zoey McCleod. Her great-grandson, Barron Rabon,  that lifted her up every time she saw him. Mother-in-law, Betty Mullins, beloved sister and best friend, Judy McCarty, and brother, Melvin Crawley (Patricia). She is also survived by her sisters of Beta Sigma Phi, many nieces, nephews, and friends that she loved and enjoyed.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this time. Thank you to Enhabit Hospice, especially Nurse Flori and Aide Jasmone for taking such good care of her. A very special thank you to Ms. Ida Goldsmith, her companion and prayer warrior. Also, to Jan and Roy Fuqua, we could not do this without you, thank you for always being by her side. We love you both.
