OZARK…Mrs. Alice Marie Rhoades, a resident of Ozark, passed away late Thursday evening, August 29, 2024, in Dale Medical Center. She was 93.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Ozark. The family will receive friends prior to service. Private family burial will follow. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rhoades was born June 18, 1931, in Buhl, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, to the late William Fred McAllister and Manda Elizabeth Adams Perrigin. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness in Ozark. Mrs. Rhoades was formerly employed with Golden Triangle Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi as a Med Surgical Technician and also as a seamstress at White Knight Manufacturing and other places. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Allen Rhoades and her stepfather, Elic Benjamin Perrigin.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Barbara Ann Bradley; son, Therrell James Bradley (Kirby Marie), all of Ozark, and Johnny LaDell Bradley (Debbie), Thonotosassa, Florida; brother, Henry Glenn Perrigin, Ozark; sister, Martha Elaine Perrigin, Ozark; eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Rhoades was loved by all who met her, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. There was no better lady or mother than her.
