My deepest sympathies to Charlene and the girls. I served with Doug in Germany and enjoyed every minute of it. I had a chance meeting with him at Ft Rucker years later and visited with him again at Range Control. He was laid back and happy, and I regret not visiting him at home with Charlene. Such a great soldier and a wonderful person.

But we went to the same High School which was Hower vocational High school. Doug took Electronics and I took printing. After High school I lost touch with Doug.
