ELBA…. Mrs. Donna Hadnott, a resident of Elba, died Tuesday evening, April 2, 2019 in a Dothan hospital. She was 71.
Graveside services will be held in May 2019 in Valrico, Florida. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hadnott was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Garnette Chapman; her husband, Julian Delmar "Fred" Hadnott; a brother, Jerry Chapman; and a sister, Linda Simmons. She was a native of Toledo, Ohio but spent most of her life in St. Petersburg, Florida prior to relocating to Elba, Alabama in 2015. She loved crocheting and bargain hunting.
Surviving relatives include her five daughters, Angela Boicheff (Nick), Dawn Fernandes (Vincent), Catherine Bonacci (David), Holly Weddle (Robert), and Terri Hadnott (John Smith); sister, Judy Uler; thirteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

I guess it is real. I’m heartbroken. I’m going to miss my Mama so much. I loved her because we love our Mama no matter what. But, I really liked this lady and enjoyed hanging out with her. She was such a big part of our lives. I’m already missing her sass and her comforting presence.
